I’m a bad person…
Let’s get that out of the way first. I know I’m probably wrong. I know you should all tell me I’m wrong.
I heard the term, “pandemic of the unvaccinated” and I felt no sympathy. To be totally honest, there was a bit of relief in my reaction. I felt like Darwin was doing his job. The only reason I felt bad was because the people taking up beds in hospitals, and costing the population money, were people who didn’t deserve it.
Needless to say, I’m angry at people who are too goddam stupid to get vaccinated. I know that, being a bleeding heart Democrat, I should be empathetic, sympathetic, understanding, and forgiving.
Sorry. Mitch McConnell et al took all that away from me.
Missouri should lose most of its population…
When I read about Missouri, I wonder how these people walk around without helmets. Forget about masks. Not bumping into walls should be their first priority. I mean, seriously?

These are people in a State who want to die. Who are we to stand in their way?
These are people who have politicized a deadly pandemic. Does a virus vote?! I think the only adults allowed in hospitals with COVID should be those who have received a vaccine and something went wrong. The others, by making the choice to not get vaccinated, have given up their right to survive.
The nay-sayers…
There are people, like @RealCandaceO who truly want to die from COVID. Why should we care what happens to her?
When (not ‘if’) she contracts the virus, she can take her apology to the grave. I’m sure she’ll be comforted in the knowledge that she was wrong.
The Delta variant won’t be the last iteration of the virus, and it’s because of the unvaccinated that the virus persists. The unvaccinated find joy in putting the world at risk. Why shouldn’t we rejoice in their suffering? Why shouldn’t we be relieved with their death?
Naturally, the Deep South…
It seems, unsurprisingly, that the Deep Red States are the most effected by the “pandemic of the unvaccinated”. Judging by their wisdom in their elected officials, anyone with an ounce of intelligence shrugs their shoulders and says, “…and?”.

And there’s Fox News…
I’ve heard a lot about Fox News suddenly getting a conscience and changing their tune. They’re now telling their viewers to get the vaccine. Although this is a good idea and way too late, don’t be fooled by their motive. They are faced with a Class Action Suit against them having to do with distribution of misinformation, and they are covering their collective ass.
All in all…
I know I’m a terrible person, and you are free and encouraged to leave your comments to me at the end of this newsletter. But I think of the hundreds of thousands of people who are dead who would have gladly taken the vaccine and be alive today, that I have no patience for people who need coaxing, bribing, and convincing, just so we can save their lives.
If you’re too stupid to know that…
…well then…
…you’re just too stupid.
I am total agreement. People that are not vaccinated should have to pay out of pocket for medical care. If they decide now to get the vaccine because their unvaccinated brother or sister died they should pay big bucks to get a vaccine. Better yet they shouldn’t be allowed to get medical treatment at all. This might seem mean-spirited , but they don’t care about themselves by not getting vaccinated, so why should we care about them? Certainly they don’t care about others. These were mainly non-maskers as well.
